Language and Culture

I had English pronunciation classes with Sonia and she was absolutely wonderful. The classes were engaging and interesting and very productive in my opinion.

I also participated in Sonia’s British Culture and Politics classes. I learned a lot, it was fascinating.

In few words, Sonia is amazing as a person and a teacher

 I have lived in London for more than 20 years and wish I'd met Sonia when I arrived.  I have learnt so much from her British Culture Classes and it's really helped me get a deeper understanding of my adopted country. I am always amazed at the range of topics she manages to teach us.  I didn't know I didn't know so many things and it's great to have someone to ask.  

 I cannot recommend Sonia highly enough. Following recommendation from a friend of mine, I started one-to-one sessions with Sonia when I felt my English wasn't strong enough from a business point of view and my pronunciation could be improved. It was hard but 100% worth it and Sonia kept me on my toes while keeping lessons entertaining. I then discovered the group culture sessions, which were always insightful and every time, on top of having a fun time, I learned something, even though I have lived in the UK for over 20 years. 

  I have had the good fortune of listening to Sonia Davies on many occasions while she discussed very timely, informative and interesting topics about British culture. I highly encourage everybody to attend a talk or class with Sonia. She is insightful, knowledgeable and has a keen ability to present the subject matter in an unbiased manner allowing for robust discussions. It is a welcomed change in this era of divisive media and politics.
